(Elaboration is welcome)

H=hammer
P=pulloff
^=Bend, marked next to note. (in all cases in this tab, 1/2 step)
^=Stacatto note (marked outside of staff)
^^=Super-fast trill (marks outside of staff)
*When slides start from a note other than the open string, the timing for the slide
is relative to the location of the peak of the slide on the tabliture. (so, if you
slide from 10 up to 14 on beat '2', the 14 would be under the two, and the peak would
happen at that beat.)
This is one of the most improvisational songs in Stefan Lessard's rep.
The main note progression throughout the song which is improvised on is
A, B, E, D. I'll provide here my impression of this particular recording.
I saw this on Dave Letterman, and I think it's fairly close. The numbers
(i.e. the '77' in the second measure) are a super-quick 32nd-note trill.
I'll mark the ones that are this so that they don't get mixed up with the
ones that are double-digit frets, with a '^^' under the place where it happens.
The bass starts at the VERY beginning with the guitar and hi-hat.
Also, this is played on a 6-string, so I'll tab the B-string for anyone who can use it.
if you play a 4 like me, you just have to play the next octave up. sorry.
NOTE:
I caught the preformance of this on Letterman, and have since revamped the chorus
bass line. Have a look.

"..coming too much for me"
And back into the verse riff.
The 'reggae' section (as Carter Beauford calls it) is a lot like the intro
area, and even contains the same little bendy place. During the sax solo,
it is really just adlibbed verse riff. All E's in the main chord progression
are 5th fret on the B-string, and all D's in the main chord progression are
3rd fret on the B-string, so if you're not a 5/6-string player, you'll have to
do with the open-E for the E, and 5th fret A-string for the D, like I do.
Here's the most audible part of the reggae riff. This is the only part of the
reggae riff played on Letterman since they had to cut the song so short.
1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &
G|-----------------------------------|-----------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------|-----------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------|-----------5---7---9~~-------------|
E|---5-----------5---5---------------|---------7-------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------|-----------------------------------|
1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &
G|-----------------------------------|-----------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------|-----------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------|-----------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------|-----------------------------------|
B|------/5--/5\---------/5--/5\------|-------3---3\----------3---3\------|
Then a couple more bars and back to the verse riff, with the E's and D's on
the B-string, frets 3 and 5. Pretty wicked.
So, that's that. Hope you enjoy!
