-All Fantômas bass lines are
played using a Whammy pedal (which tunes down the bass a whole octave)-

The intro ain't that hard to do (in fact, it couldn't be less simple), but you need a Whammy pedal



Find a wood or plastic stick with notches along it, the idea is to use it as a bow (friction)



- Set the Whammy pedal in normal tunning, so when you press the pedal, it will go from normal to down tunning ( 1 octave down) 

- Bow the open E string 8 times, pressing the pedal at 4th time and releasing it at 8th (detune it gradually)

- Then repeat the pattern
